I just discovered that there is a linux distro called Salix OS!!!

Unfortunately Salix.gr have no relation with Salix OS.

A sunny sunday by the seaside. The new car arrived after 5 long months and we finaly can take and our baby along. Yes we have four kids and three of them are in diapers and still wake up for milk in the night....
No, it is not usual in Greece to have more than 2 kids. No, thats usual to the middle east and more east.

Hope you all now understand why I cant take care of salix.gr properly...

Today i realized that i am programming for maybe 20 years or more (still have gw-basic printouts) and i started thinking the machines i owned and special ones i worked on.

Yes, a very big thanks to our host for recovering salix.
For 48 hours I was sure that salix.gr was gone. Server's hard drive crashed and i had no backup. Yes, I had no backup. For a reason i believed that raid things do no fail. I am i wrong? Finaly data center's guys recoved backup files 20 days old. Not perfect but something is better that nothing.
Anyways i will start now my own backup schedule as i should in the first place.

Vag thanks again for getting salix up again.
And I appologize to you guys for being offline this week.

Happy new coding in 2008!!

Today i had a bad day. I was called, once again, to defend myself for not doing my job right. My job right? Currently i have 2 maybe 3 different jobs in that company. Full time jobs! I have to work about 10 hours (currently i do 10 dialy) more daily to finish what they expect me to do.

I think i managed to create accounts here for all existing forum users.

Today after some time of thinking I managed to find time and rebuild Salix with Drupal.

Still not very happy with the result. Still having some layout issues and nothing done to gain back phorum stats in my home page. I will try soon to build a little module to do this.

And I apologize for douple registration needed. Separate users in phorum and drupal. That will be next step.

I hope that you like the new site and please post your suggestions and problems you might get with this.
